This skate shop is awesome! The customer service is beyond amazing. I was unable to make it to the shop during their regular hours of operation but that wasn't a problem. The owner, Suzy said she would be there at the time I was able to make it there and would be there as long as I needed. When I arrived she greeted me with a genuine smile which made me feel very comfortable. Every question I had she answered and without upselling me. In fact she talked me out of over spending. I was referred to this shop by the roller derby league I recently joined and being new to the sport I had no clue what I should be buying or upgrading right away. Suzy helped me figure it out. She had me test out the protection gear showed me several options and gave me different scenarios for why various pieces were good etc. My first experience here was so great that 4 days later I was back once again after their usual hours due to my work schedule, purchasing a gear bag and a few more items to complete my set up. Mind you I live around the corner from a well known skate shop in Long Beach. I chose to go back to Wicked strictly due to their excellent service. Special shout out to Kat who was there to help me on my second visit. Once again exceptional service without the hard upsell push. Knowledgable and beyond helpful, this store has a customer for life with me. A store with this calibur of knowledge and service is a rare find for any market especially in a specialty field.
