Niya Sushi at 5910 Warner Avenue, Huntington Beach, California.

Very disappointed. The cokes we ordered were flat. The Lettuce Wrap is supposed to have shrimp tempura and rice wrapped with a leaf of iceberg lettuce. It sure was not like the Lettuce Wraps I used to receive here a few years ago which had large pieces of shrimp tempura with just a little bit of rice. The one I received on this visit was 90% rice and 10% shrimp tempura bits. The "wasabi" that was served was not even spicy..no heat no nothing...bland. I asked the sushi chef what this was because it certainly was not wasabi. He just looked at me and nodded and smiled. I said why is this not spicy? What is this? Some more nodding and smiling. We used to come here quite a bit a few years ago and while we were away it looks like now it is under new ownership. We usually give restaurants a second visit (chance) if our first visit is not as good as we were hoping for.
However, as bad as our visit was here for lunch I don't think a second visit would be any better.
